The mission of the Inspire Foundation is to bring together volunteers and work closely with different partners to inspire Afro-Caribbean youth, helping them thrive academically through practical, tailored actions that ease their transition into the professional world.
The mentoring program (one-on-one pairing) aims to match a young person with an experienced mentor who can provide advice and tips to guide them through their studies and career choices. The program serves as a stepping stone for professional networking.

This award is presented annually to a young mentee of the Inspire Foundation who stands out for their academic achievements and non-academic accomplishments.
I had the opportunity to participate in an online day camp in the summer of 2020, thanks to a scholarship from the Inspire Foundation.
During the camp, I learned a lot of things about AI that I didn’t know before. I now understand that we can create AI using various programming languages, such as JavaScript (JS), Node.js, C, C++, C#, and others. I also discovered the process behind creating artificial intelligence. It may seem complicated at first, but in reality, it’s simpler than it looks. All it takes is logical thinking to build our robot. I encourage other young people like me to seize any opportunity to learn coding and innovate, because artificial intelligence is becoming more and more important in nearly every professional field today.”
