The Inspire Foundation was founded in August 2020 by a dynamic team of young Black professionals from diverse backgrounds. Its creation was driven by the idea of empowering Afro-Caribbean youth and providing them with the tools to achieve their dreams and ambitions. To do so, the Foundation’s mission is to bring together volunteers (mentors, trainers, professionals) and actively collaborate with various organizations within the Quebec ecosystem to inspire this youth and contribute to their academic development through concrete, tailored actions that meet their needs. The ultimate goal is to ease their integration into the professional world.
The mission of the Inspire Foundation is to mobilize volunteers and actively collaborate with various stakeholders in the ecosystem to inspire the target youth and contribute to their academic development through meaningful actions.
To become a key hub that inspires, supports, and encourages young people by providing them with the tools they need to dare and achieve their dreams.
Commitment and Collaboration: We encourage serious, lasting, and tangible engagement from our volunteers, mentees, and stakeholders. Emphasis is placed on collaboration to foster team synergy and work more effectively.
Communication and Respect: We ensure a respectful environment that embraces differences, where listening is key to understanding others and providing them with the appropriate attention and support. We prioritize clear and transparent communication of our expectations and initiatives, both internally and externally.
Excellence and Rigor: Honest and rigorous in our actions, we carry out all activities with professionalism, always striving for excellence while adapting to the latest innovations.
Listening: Our actions are based on careful listening to the needs of our target population, and we adjust our priorities accordingly to stay aligned with the expectations of young people.
