The Vis ma vie program gives a young person or a group of young people the opportunity to spend a full day working alongside a mentor to familiarize themselves with a targeted trade. The mentee will have the opportunity to immerse himself in his mentor’s reality, which will give him a good understanding of the activities and tasks performed, and enable him to determine whether these are in line with his vision of the trade and his personality. It’s also an opportunity for the mentee to ask concrete questions about the schools and training/courses required to gain access to a particular type of career.
